So much to do, so little time...

Oh, finally a moment to blog a bit! We've been turning the house upside down, cleaning, re-organize all spaces, my scrapcorner is now bigger and better, some photos are finally framed and up on the wall etc. The trunk I found in the thrift store is cleaned and in place, I love it.

On the same time that I'm blogging I'm downloading the goodie bag from SiStv that I ordered thursday! It's for their online-classes the 13-15 of june, it's gonna be fun! It's my first class and I'm also taking an additional class with Céline Navarro. Cool! :)

I was supposed to go to a flea market this morning but since the rain wont stop... No findings for me. Next week.

I'm starting to figure out all the seetings and functions of my camera and at last my printer is somewhat configured like I want it. Before I took a pic, photoshopped it a bit and when I printed it, it came out as a colorbomb from hell. Horrible, skin for example came out like a lobster. No fun. But now I'm on Adobe RVB in the camera, made the same color profil in CS3 and finally the printer. Still don't really get the RAW-thing but I'm on it. I mean I chose RAW+jpeg in the camera but when I upload them to the computer I can't find them...?
And when I'm thinking about this, these 2 do this...

Time for lunch and the finishing of the house spring-cleaning!

Weekend

This weekend we've been re-decorating the house. Went to the 'Emmaëus', local thrift-store, and found an old trunk from Senegal. It's now a sideboard to our sofa! :) We also bought a huge plant and two black carpets, the hairy ones, "ryamatta" in swedish... It really "cosend" up the whole house and now that only thing we're missing is some painting and other things to put on the walls, besides photos.
As it's already midnight I'll take some pics tomorrow morning to show you! I'll try to finish the coushins made of my Etsy-fabric, I've got so much stuff in the owen on the same time!
I've finished the new mini and it turn out really nice!

Today was mothers day in France so we were invited at Philippes mothers house and I think we were almost 20! Fun! I made a swedish crumble with raspberry and vanilla sauce! Yum-O!

Legacy

This is one of the pieces in my late grandmothers dinner set. I love it. It's the finnish "Arabia" from the 70ies I think. My mother gives me one piece each year, more for the fun to see what I get because I know that when we'll move to a house (that's supposed to mean when my mum thinks I'm an adult even though I'm turning 29 this june...) I'll get the whole set.

That's all. I am scrapping a little album, so fun! If I'm finished tomorrow I'll show you! :)

BBQ - again!

Just came home from a bbq, the 13th on 3 weeks! I'm starting to look like a steak! And smells like one! :D

So, it's late to do a real post, just wanted to say good night and to tell you that my mojo is back and so am I, been a bit absent in blogging and commenting latest! I'll be better, I really like reading all of your cozy bloggs and I do read it everyday but just not enough time to comment! <3

And some good news! The 3rd of june my mother is coming, along with my aunt and cousin! :D :D It's the first time they're coming, well not my mum, she's here 4 times a year!

The pic is one of my fave dresses that I found in a second hand-store, or do you say thrift store for clothes too? Me like! :)

Rainy afternoon

This is how I spent this afternoon, swedish candy bought at Ikea and one of the swedish mag that mum sends me. Can it be better a rainy afternoon...?

Went shopping today, trying to find a present for a little baby-girl, so hard! Finally bought a dress and sunglasses etc and made a pink card. All this because we're invited to her baptisme(?) sunday :) Fun!

Now it's really late and I'm going to bed, went to Karen's and babbled until 1am in the morning, got home and the guys are STILL on the pse, fotball game. Wiha! Got to bed just in protest! :)

That's french for bad weather word for word, il fait triste. Wind and you know when it rains without really rain? Like it just hangs in the air and you get a headache? Blä!

Went to H&M and found these nice bracelets, I like bracelets.
Beaucoup. 

Keeping on with my two bowls of Kellogs K per day and other "beach 08" stuff. So funny to eat that when your boyfriend puts some meat on the bbq with some potatoes, good sauce and a fresh coke. Sooo funny. "Vill man vara fin far man lida pin". Swedish expression; you wanna be beautiful, suffer!

Made a new LO with Aude and me a couple of days ago but I have some lost mojo going on and especially with 12x12. Learning my camera and are more in to Flickr for the moment but it will come back!

Don't have much time to blog just wanted to show you what I got yesterday! Finally the D200 is mine!!! Cooool! :D Now I just have to learn the 257 diffrent buttons and commands but I'll get it.
A friend of mine runs a little photography-school/gallery here in Montpellier and she'll give me some tips and tricks! It's gonna be so funny to learn and to start taking "real" photos. I know that it's the photographer that makes the photo, not the camera but it helps to have a mean machine! :D

Now off to a bbq!

I got a scrapcorner! Yeaj! At last I can SIT down and work, been standing up since december... Went to Ikea and bought the cheapest little computer table and vips - scrapcorner!
Gotta do something though with all my stuff cause you can see the drawer on the right that doesn't even close anymore of all the stuff I throw in!

Bought this bag today, it was there in the store waiting for me and said, buuuyyyhh me! So I had to. Life is hard...

Found some other stuff also and I got really happy when I saw this little baby in a non-scrapbooking store. It also talked to me, so today I got some new friends...


Went to the bank and picked up my new credit-card. We went to the beach friday and took only my purse. We had some coffee and icecream. We payed. The card said no. I went red. Philippe went red. We went red.
The card was due to 30/04/08. Aha... We had to call a friend who came by to pay the bill, we have some nice friends, huh? :)

3rd day that I forget to pay the rent. Super. I always remember at this time, around 20h... Strange...

A part from that no news from here. Oh, yeah, did a LO where I'm going poet. I'm a bit tired of all the colors so I'm going soft for a while. When others do colors I like but myself, pfft, boring.

Philippe will get back from the boxing (?), you know 2 guys hitting eachother, and we'll eat. I'm hungry.

Once again a mini! :)

A mini about one totally normal week in my life, really simple and not that exciting.

Went in to town and the photo-store where I met this sweet old photographer that talked to me for almost one hour. Thanks to Christine I know wich camera I'll buy, the Nikon D80. So today I had decided to buy it. This store also sells "second-hand"-cameras and after lot's of talking we decided that I'll go for a Nikon D200 + nikkor 18-70mm! Coooool! :) Just one cloud on the sky, the guy who sells it hasn't really decided if he want to sell it or not. This guy just told the seller and he told me so I have to wait until the end of this week... Buäk. Hope you get my confused talk. :)

I've just put in an order at an on-line scrapstore and hopefully the stuff will be here tomorrow already!

Some great news for me aswell but I'll talk to you later about that (has notting to do with scrapping)! :D

Now we have some friends coming over to play poker, when I loose I'll just go scrapping a bit!

Mini

This is a mini I did after seeing what Christina did with her class-kit from Kristina Contes!
It's a total copy, I took some pics in my home and "vintaged" them and out it together with some cardboard and things that I had around my scraptable. So fun!!! I'm a fan of their stuff!

I've found some new places to hang out, you spend 5 minutes in some of these girls blog and you're just filled up with inspiration!!! Like Kara, Mandi, Elsie B, Vee, Ali E, Ania, Tina.

Speaking of that I will do a link-list to all the girls that I like.
