PL SPREAD WEEK 19-20

To continue the late update on my spreads here in the blog, here's week 19 and 20!

Today we had a real summer storm here so we stayed in almost all day long and even lit candles for some cosiness... I edited a bunch of photos and made yet another spread. Nice. But here is 19+20:

CATCHING UP, WEEK 13-14 + DETAILS

I just checked my Instagram feed and my spreads that I share on Studio Calico and realised that I haven't posted week 13-16 in its total. I just showed you guys the spreads without the details. So here we go, starting with 13 and 14 with detailed shots! :D

DIY - ALPHA

Got some alphas you don't like anymore? Or that looked pretty on the web and not that pretty for real? It happend to me, I ordered a red one that I really like font-wise but the color is just too christmassy, red sparkles doesn't fit my spring mood. So I decided to try a new thing - spray paint them!

This is how I did:

1. Take alphas you wanna give a new look. You can't see the sparkles here but it sparkles!

2. Take spray paint, I chosed copper

3. Spray paint

4. Leave to dry at least 1 hour

Tadaa! A new alpha in copper that - sparkles! :D

Try it, it's fun and recycling is good!

WEEK 16... AND MORE COMING!

Hej hej as we say in swedish, how is your day? I've been a lean, mean, creating machine this weekend! It's was NSD, National Scrapbooking Day, I scrapped a lot. Even though you should call it the Internaional Day, since Europe and the rest of the world plays too! I invited a friend over and we had a marathon from 20-02h in the evening. Lot's of goodies on the table, both scrap and candy! :D

I'll show you the 4 (!) other pages later on!

#FROMWHEREIWORK X 2

We scrapped some this weekend, and when I say we that means little one and me. He's got his own little desk next to mine where he draws, cuts and pastes and it's just lovely too see!

I made 2 pages but I forgot them in my camera at home and I'm at work so... you get it. But here's a preview from my phone! :)

ALBUM FOR GRANDPA

It was my dad's birthday this week and I thought a mini album would be a perfect gift! I looked around a bit and found these little jewels, we R memory keepers instagram albums, the perfect color and the perfect size. The page protectors size either 10x10cm or 4 small 5x5cm photos and I just made a template in Photoshop and printed! Easy peasy! :) Tomorrow I'll do some inserts with text etc so my dad knows when and where!

PL WEEK 10

I bought some new designs for my spreads, nice to change a bit!

I really go for simple for the moment and I realise that I could easily do 2 spreads per week since it takes me like 30 minutes to finish one up. For me it's the printing that takes time, to chose photos etc and I always "leave out" pics for space reasons, that why I'll start making 2 pages from now on!

And my new Amy Tan alphas!

"Bil" means car in swedish, and it's being used like 136 times per hour!

WORKSPACE WEDNESDAY

I’ve seen so many inspiring workspaces lately so I want to show you mine! It’s been under construction for like a year and is finally coming together as I want. I prefer to scrap standing but I do sit down to work on the computer so I still need a stool, shelves on the wall and more prettyness! Oh sigh, so much hard work ahead of me, right? :)

Of course I forgot to snap the whole room so you have to imagine how the rest looks like until I show you for real…

PROJECT LIFE SPREAD WEEK 8-9

 My spread for this week, now I'm off for a whole afternoon with my BFF Karen! We're having a lunch date and then off to the hairdresser together and probably ending up with drinks tonight! Lovely!
