PLAYDATE!

This weekend went by way too fast! Saturday we went to Masha's place and had a playdate with her and Lara. it was awesomely fun to watch her play with Viggie and Lara, she is such a cool mum and invents games on the go! Like car racing! :)

Viggo discovered that pink cars go as fast as blue and that Hello Kitty suits him perfect! :)

Then we went home to paint our new bibliotheque Philippe built (more about that later) while Viggo napped and then we had pizzas and chilled. Sunday was all about spring cleaning volume one for all day long exept un excursion in the absolutely gorgeous weather, around 20 degrees, and more chilling.

I did have the time to scrap some ;) I'll show you later!

FINISHING UP FEBRUARY PL

I have 2 more pages to share with you from our winter vacations and then I can finally go back to normal again! Kinda tired of all the white, blue and red in the skiing pics... It's often like that for me, when I do a themed album (and that's why I don't do many) I get tired of it in the middle and wanna move on, That's why the PL is so good, you can change mood and colors for every spread!

I haven't had the time to snap the last pages, we went skiing this weekend (again!) but here's a details:

We went to Andorra this time and had 2 days of absolut sunshine, snowboarding, eating and fireplacing! It was totally awesome!

RANDOMNESS

This weekend I was a busy bee but I still had the time to make 3 spreads of PL and cuddle with mini-me. We read some books together, got dressed and had a bath in the much improvised bathtub. We don’t have a bathtub (yet) so we’ve been using an inflatable tub that unfortunately got a “flat tire”… J So I dug some in the garage and found this recycle bin from Ikea, tada! Homemade tub done!

Below is utter cuteness!

Happy Monday to you all!

OUR WINTER VACATIONS

Last week was just awesome! We went to the French alps for a week (Les Menuires) and had a completely RAD time! Our apartment had a mountain view and we had a 15 meters walk to get to the slopes, it was perfect!
Viggo was registered at the nursery called Piou-Piou all day and had fun playing while we rode the alps. We are both snowboarders  and we just had a blast for an entire week, 3 days of sun and 3 days of snowing.  I really don’t have words to describe everything, I’m still high on mountain air and off piste riding! J

La semaine dernière était juste parfait, 7 jours de snowboard aux Menuires/Les 3 vallées, beau temps et neige un jour sur deux. Petit appart aux pieds des pistes et nous sur nos snows en total happiness en mangeant des fondues le soir ! Vacances parfaits !

ODE TO THE WEATHER... OR NOT

It's raining, it's all foggy and grey here in Montpellier today, so I thought I would cheer myself up with this pic that I snapped yesterday morning in the car going to work. AND show you the new calendar stamp/brush set I bought from Paislee Press, that is just perfect! I also bought some other templates and I'll show you, they are gorgeous and so versatile!

I used a vsco filter and the calendar and I use this photo like a title card for my PL.

VIGGO’S BIRTHDAY CAKE

First of all Happy New Year!

I’ve been kinda busy with Christmas, New Year’s Eve and Viggo’s birthday this Monday so I’m just popping in to say hi!
Tomorrow I’ll show you pics from Viggo’s birthday, my little man is already 2, unbelievable… This is the homemade cake (that he refused to eat by the way, hrm):

So, have a nice evening!

OUR CHRISTMAS PART 2

We woke up early on Christmas day and had a huge breakfast with all the leftovers from « Julafton », I lit the advent stars and the Christmas tree as every morning and we just sat there in the chaos of paper and boxes and looked at Viggo having a blast with his new toys…

Then we headed to the mountains and the rest of Phil’s family to have lunch. It’s a beautiful road to go there so we enjoyed the trip as much as the destination. J Viggo was happy all along and Philippe entertained (most of all himself…) with “I drive with eyes closed” and peaked with the other.

We had a wonderful lunch in French style which means sitting down at 12pm and getting out of table at 17h30, but in the middle there was some gift giving involved so we did do some exercise… J

With lots of food and love in the stomach we headed home to the same mess and just threw ourselves on the couch and didn’t do anything more that day.
I love the holidays!

OUR CHRISTMAS PART 1

Since I am a hard core Christmas lover, things have to be like I want them to be. Therefore my little family celebrates like we do it in Sweden, whether they want to or not. This is to be told since Phil is a food lover and to not have his traditional Christmas dinner is admirable and valiant... :) We also do everything the 24th of december, food and presents. The 25th it's all over in Sweden! But since we've been together for 8 years now, he is kinda use to it.
So early Christmas morning, the 24th called Julafton, I went to Ikea to get the last details food-wise that was missing and we were good to go. I spent an hour or two in the kitchen making dinner while the others just chilled and peeked at the presents. This little one most particular:

"- I know I shouldn't be peeking" :)

Then I made the table and we ate! A LOT! Plenty of swedish x-mas specialties.

And around eight we started the gift giving so Viggo wouldn't be too tired.
Unfortunately the man in the house took some lovely pics without looking at the result and 10 out of 10 photos are blurry... But you can still see this little man's face and the happiness and we made some pretty darn good memories in our hearts, I tell ya!

Playing with the word cards he got, a hit!

Then it was time for us to open. I'd been squeezing and lifting mine for days and I was sure I was getting the little Canon printer. Sure like absolutely sure. I start open the big box and first thing I see is a logo with mountains. Oh, I thought, he got me the Sorel boots I peeked at. I start open and I pull out a pair of Timberlands... Phils' ol' Timbs... What the?!
Then I see the note:

Your gift is in the garage!!!

I look again at the box and I see the Burton Snowboards logo, not Sorel. I run to the garage (all this time ugly crying big time) and there I see not snowboard boots as I thought but a freaking snowboard!!! My snowboard that I've been looking at for months!
Best gift ever from best boyfriend ever! He is completely CRAZY!
To be added is that he also gave me a ring people (!) and a gloss that he picked out!
I've been complaining over his non-capacities to pick a gift, every year I pick out my own and no surprise has been going on. Until now. I take it all back! :D Love you!

A Burton Deja Vu Flying V with Escapade EST bindings for those who cares  :)

He made himself a pretty good gift too since he bought himself one also! :D Ha ha, we just spent the rest of the evening looking at the boards and planning this winter season! Yeaaaah!

So I had a pretty awesome Christmas and I hope you did too! We went to bed late, slept all 3 in the big bed and didn't even clean up so this is just from me to you:
HAPPY HOLIDAYS and HAPPY MESS! :D
