LET'S JUST GET IT OVER WITH :)

This album took me forever to make and forever to post! Honestly I was so fed up with this one so when I was done I didn't even think about posting right away... I think it was all the christmas red with it that got me tired already the 26th of december. So let's just post this and say it done!

A Pinterest Pick Page :)

Philippe made foie gras!

We went to Philippe's family in the mountains on the 25th, good times!

And finally the sweetest!

DECEMBER DAILY, FIRST PART

I finally finished my december daily this year! Or I mean for 2013 but I finished it 2014... :)
Here are the first pages, I can't post them all at once, there are too many!

I took all pics with my phone so you have to excuse the quality but if I didn't do it at work I'll never do it!

I finally changed the album for a Studio Calico one, suits me better to be able to remove the page protectors and change like I want. The other one was fixed.

The first page!

That thing on the left is a removable note where I wrote some stuff to remember.

Some layering just for the fun.

Love the black papers and woodies!

The star is the advent calendar I made for Viggo this year to open each Sunday before Christmas.
Tomorrow comes second part!

OUR CHRISTMAS PART 1

Since I am a hard core Christmas lover, things have to be like I want them to be. Therefore my little family celebrates like we do it in Sweden, whether they want to or not. This is to be told since Phil is a food lover and to not have his traditional Christmas dinner is admirable and valiant... :) We also do everything the 24th of december, food and presents. The 25th it's all over in Sweden! But since we've been together for 8 years now, he is kinda use to it.
So early Christmas morning, the 24th called Julafton, I went to Ikea to get the last details food-wise that was missing and we were good to go. I spent an hour or two in the kitchen making dinner while the others just chilled and peeked at the presents. This little one most particular:

"- I know I shouldn't be peeking" :)

Then I made the table and we ate! A LOT! Plenty of swedish x-mas specialties.

And around eight we started the gift giving so Viggo wouldn't be too tired.
Unfortunately the man in the house took some lovely pics without looking at the result and 10 out of 10 photos are blurry... But you can still see this little man's face and the happiness and we made some pretty darn good memories in our hearts, I tell ya!

Playing with the word cards he got, a hit!

Then it was time for us to open. I'd been squeezing and lifting mine for days and I was sure I was getting the little Canon printer. Sure like absolutely sure. I start open the big box and first thing I see is a logo with mountains. Oh, I thought, he got me the Sorel boots I peeked at. I start open and I pull out a pair of Timberlands... Phils' ol' Timbs... What the?!
Then I see the note:

Your gift is in the garage!!!

I look again at the box and I see the Burton Snowboards logo, not Sorel. I run to the garage (all this time ugly crying big time) and there I see not snowboard boots as I thought but a freaking snowboard!!! My snowboard that I've been looking at for months!
Best gift ever from best boyfriend ever! He is completely CRAZY!
To be added is that he also gave me a ring people (!) and a gloss that he picked out!
I've been complaining over his non-capacities to pick a gift, every year I pick out my own and no surprise has been going on. Until now. I take it all back! :D Love you!

A Burton Deja Vu Flying V with Escapade EST bindings for those who cares  :)

He made himself a pretty good gift too since he bought himself one also! :D Ha ha, we just spent the rest of the evening looking at the boards and planning this winter season! Yeaaaah!

So I had a pretty awesome Christmas and I hope you did too! We went to bed late, slept all 3 in the big bed and didn't even clean up so this is just from me to you:
HAPPY HOLIDAYS and HAPPY MESS! :D

PREPARING FOR CHRISTMAS

This weekend all we did was Christmas gifts, Christmas gifts, Christmas gifts! On Saturday I did a little tour giving my fave girls some presents and then I was all in for finding what was missing under the Christmas tree. It took me 4 hours but now I’m done and am literally as excited as a five year old! I love Christmas and I love giving! Can’t wait to see the faces when they’ll be opening the presents…

Sunday we spent wrapping those presents and that was a hours-taking business as well. I did it simple and fun this year, no elegant or sophisticated style here, just funny and dotty paper and the freebie gift tags from yesterdays’ post. Voilà!

Viggo helped me out, painted on his new thingie (thank you Karen!) and then we ate. All day. And Viggo made funny faces with daddy and though it was hilarious as you can see.

I really want Santa to read my wish list cus I need a new camera… All thse are taken with my mobile + vsco since the Nikon is just too heavy to carry around taking snapshots with and it comes out rather crappy... And, note to self! Wipe that phone camera off before taking pics!

Now - Lunch time!

DECEMBER DAILY FIRST WEEK

I must be a little strange I know but the first pages in my album didn't please me so I started all over! So here is the updated version along with the newest pages:

Viggo met Santa last Sunday and we made it our christmas card for the year! It's a free template that you can find here and print at home!

Viggo was so sweet and sat quietly beside Santa the time for a photo. One that is and then he wanted to get back into daddys arms... Santa is a biiit scary.

That little neck!!! I used this tag "le miracle de noël" for Viggo, he is born the 30th of December and in 2011 we spent the best Christmas and New Years Eve! Philippe went out to buy foie gras, the nurses offered champagne and we spent the evening in our room at the maternity clinic us three, Viggo being only 24 hours old! He is our miracle!

A hello in the car!

Viggo likes to scrap too :)

It snowed last week! Here, in Montpellier! Well, it lasted for 20 minutes but it made this Swedish girls' day!

We went to the Christmas market in the village next to ours, we bought sausages for daddy and and had mulled wine...
