WEEK 15 OF PROJECT LIFE

Yes! Another page done, if I continue like this I'll soon be ahead in my project! Nice :)

I forgot the put on the week's number on this sheet but since I'm not a slave for dates it doesn't matter... I just need to know what month and year, it's enough for me!

It was all about plants this weekend, for the garden and indoors, I think I found a new hobby. 

My mum was here to visit last week and as usual I forgot to take pictures when it matters the most, gotta get better on that.

JUST FOR ME

When I saw this little candle on my shopping spree yesterday I just had to have it, it is so true. My work is 8 hours of internet, my hobby and this blog is all about the web and the rest of my time is kinda filled with instagramming, blogloving och pinteresting. Omg, that sounds more addicted than I thought! I do go outside, I do play with my son and I have friends that I socialize with so I hope I'm normal in one way... :)

MY SPRING INSPIRATION

This is how I see spring this year, matte aqua and tangerine mixed with pale pink and pretty, cheer patterns! Mixed that with some cool black and white sayings on the wall and you got me!

I seek for the little details and less expensive decoration and it's like the god of poor budgets heard me - H&M Home online store just opened here in France, yaj! That is one perfectly cool timing! So now you have to excuse me, I'm gonna spend the evening clickin' away! :)

FRIDAY LOVE

Finally Friday! Only 3 more hours to go before the weekend seriously starts! We have the most beautiful spring weather here with sun and 20 degrees, I can't wait to be outside! I bought some new decoration elements but here is what inspires me on Pinterest today:

SMALL DETAILS MATTERS

The last bits and pieces of the house are now coming together... After almost 2 years of renovations, big changes and extensions we can now finally start the fun part - decoration!

I went on a mini shopping spree earlier today for some succulents and a bigger plant and this is what I came home with I just love that Snake plant, there is something "Case Study Houses" about it, you know, that slim 50's style that we reproduces nowadays! I think the succulents are my faves for the same reason... :)

PS. I snap everything with my smartphone for the moment, some day I'll use my DSLR again... :)

CUSTOM SHELF ALMOST DONE!

We thought that the left wall in our living room/open space felt a bit empty. We surfed the web for a suiting furniture but didn’t find anything that both of us liked or that was big enough. So, the man with the master plan (Philippe) decided to do it himself! And he did! And the result is like… yeah, what’s the word again… FREAKIN‘ AMAZING!

Here is how it looks today, there is still missing a big wooden mirror in the middle, some lightning and of course A lot of decoration! The fun part is yet to come! :D

PRRRETTYNESS IN A CLOCK!

I checked out my Pinterest this morning and saw one of these wall clock and had one of those oh-swell-moments! Yum, yum of prettyness!

I didn't know this online store and now I'm totally hooked! Society6 have all you could ever wanted in art prints! If you like the print you can chose it on clocks, bags, mugs, t-shirts and on and on. Amazing and Affordable! Go check it out here!

SHOPPING TIP!

I found this cute little online shop yesterday with the sweetest little things and I just needed to share with you! I think I pinned the entire store because I really want everything, the little necklaces and rings, and the mugs and things for the kid… all! Bird on the Wire is the name and they also have a real store in Paris. Prettyness!

Oooh! Look what I got today, a Thief & Bandit bracelet! It's my sweetness Masa that got it for me at Christmas but since she's been out vagabonding for a month we only met up today! Thank you, it's gorgeous!

FREE PRINTABLE GIFT TAGS

You can find free printable gift tags all over the web and here is my selection for the year. I chosed the Boraillustraties ones since it's matching my paper perfect! I had a real flow going and wrote my tags for just to discover in the end I wrote to Viggo from mum or dad all over... euh, it's Santa who's coming with gifts right? Fortunately the Viggievig doesn't read yet, he he! :D

This years wishlist from me to Santa... :) I hope he reads my blog!

ADVENT CALENDER FOR VIGGO

I decided to go simple, first of all because I didn't find enough little gifts in time and second because 4 is enough, one each sunday, for a little guy that prefers the gift wrapping more than the actual gift.

So this is the advent star, I made the wood star last year, and now it's being recycled for this. Simple wrapping and some wool thread + these printables = done! :)

And this is the reason why the "forest theme"! I got him a little beginning of something I'd like to be a tradition, a little collection from Schleich!

Tonight I'll begin my December Daily, I got a Becky Higgins album and lots of yum so I can't wait until tonight!

COSY WINTER MOOD

We’ve got some really chilly temperatures here with -5 in the mornings. So, with that and the fact that it snowed here (!) for about 5 minutes Wednesday, I am totally ready for the first advent on Sunday!

This weekend is going to be busy with Viggo meeting santa, the making of his 24 little packages for his advent calendar and baking Christmas buns "Lussebullar" all Sunday.

 I’ll also prepare the “Adventsljusstake” which is a really Scandinavian thing, it's candle holder that you light on each Sunday before Christmas. I'll show you, for me it's one of the most christmassy things that can be. And - TGIF as usual! :)

THE GARLAND

I finally got a moment to shoot the garland. I simply put up some nails and then just "thread" it around them, it took me 3 minutes. A good thing is that it has a power switch, which means you don't have to bend down each time to turn it on/off.

 Like an art work :)

It's so pretty when it's lit!

Of course the mini-me had to be around when this happening took place! He found a paper tube and had a blast with it, a little star wars was going on so I had to stop the shooting and play some. I'll show you the finished DIY later, you can see it on the right, hangning over Viggos' bed. Some pictures are still to be hung, like the boy with the balloons... Why does the day only have 24 hours? :)

MY BALLS ARE HERE :D

They are here, my balls are here! I'm so exited, don't know why, they are just so pretty. There are two layers of them, I chosed the 35 lenght and I'm glad I did. I'll put them up tonight in Viggos room to see them glowing.

MORE H&M HOME KIDS

I found more prettyness at H&M Home and now I'm really considering ordering some stuff to my mums' address in Stockholm and then ship it to me... What do you think, aren't these budget friendly-Ferm Living-copies worthy a go?

PINLOVIN' OF THE DAY

Today is all grey and rainy here so I'm in a cuddle mood, well maybe not here at work but in my mind... This is a pretty fine idea to lighten up a corner in your house, a mirror and a string of light...

And I could do with some snow... Just some 40 cm of snow from the 1st of december to the 3rd of January. Perfect! :D  Don't you think?

Oh well, in Montpellier it snows every 4 years so I'll put this on my wall instead:

And this is my next purchase, a long t-shirt or tunique.
