Scrappin' some

My ladies! Aude is here for summer! At last! She and Isis & Amelie (not in picture) study in Belgium and I only see them twice a year for the moment! But now they're here for 3 months! Yippi!
Stephanie works in Paris so I don't get the chance to see her often neither and finally Audrey is a topboss in a US firm so... but with summer here we'll try to get together as much as possible!

This week means organisation, paperwork and planning the future. I'm trying to make myself a planning, up early, 2 hours of paperwork etc, some internet, lunch, some more paperwork and errands, afternoon-tanning and pool, dinner and scrapping as the sun sets! Life isn't too hard on me for the moment but it will all change very soon so I'll profit! :)

Almost forgot! Here's the layouts that I've done this weekend! I really like the "new" style that I'm scrapping now, it's more of memory-making than just creating. But anyways, I always change and that's what I like, otherwise it's boooring! :D

This was in the package, a necklace Tessie sent to me for my birthday, isn't that sweet?! It's the swedish letter A with a round above it, (like in my name that I can never write correctly as my french keyboard doesnt' have it!) and it's red tranparent plastic! Coooool!

Evening Doggywalk

As I don't have the photos from my birthday etc and nothing special is happening, it's just to hot to think (yesterday we had 38°C!), I'll show you our daily or almost nightly dogwalk. Voilà, as I said, nothing much to share for the moment. And since it's around 11 in the evening it starts to get comfy it's too late to scrap so...

This is our "yard", our terrasse leads to our mini-marina.

Some of our neighbours has their terrasse floating over water, nice! But even more mosquitos than us, blä!

Titan found a buddy, there's about 5 french bulldogs around here.

My computer is already back from the urgency! The guy was really sweet and I used the Bambi-look the make him understand that I can't live without my PC! :D

So, I'm back!

Last week was my birthday, thank you so much for the b-day wishes girls! xo xo xo :D

We want to a nice restaurant and then had a drink (or two:) in a nightclub, we we're 8 I think and I had a blast! Philippe gave me a Nikkor 50mm 1,8, Karen a ring and a wallet and the others gave me a really nice pair of shoes! I heart presents! :D

We took some pics with Virginies camera and she'll give them to me but with this computer crash everything got retarded!

Saturday it was "fête de la musique" here in France and that means that every single street is filled with people, bands and music! It a tradition here, I love it, each and every bar has a stand out on the street and you drink beer and listen to a thousand diffrent kinds of music until 2 am in the morning. I mostly hang out where the electro music were and it was so goooood!

The afternoon I spent with Céline Navarro and two sweet friends of hers. She invited me to scrap with her since she lives just nearby me and, boy is she great! :D She's so funny! We scrapped at her friend Isa's house and had some of her chocolate cake! Au Top! :D


I can tell ya that I got inspired and see her scrap page after page made me so productive that I made 2,5! You can see that I love her style, I used a whole lot more of embellishements than I use too and mixed colors and styles! Cool! :D

Sunday we went inland with some friends, to the river for "paddle some canoe"! It was so fun! We had 3 boats and for 5 hours we splashed, paddled and laughed! Every summer we go for at least 2-3 times and I feel that Philippe and I are returning fast!

That's my weekend, what did you do? How's your weather? Here we have 33°C, puh!
But at least it's finally the real southern France-summer that I love!
I put to much AC on in the car though 'cause now I have a soar throat...

Computer crash! :(

I can't do anything, my computer is dead, will be back as soon as possible.

I'm mad!

Tomorrow I'm turning 29!

It's my birthday tomorrow! Last time I'll turn 20 something! Hilfe!
I'm having lunch with Karen tomorrow and then Philippe and I will go pick up my present, I know what I'm getting, my man is the best!!! :D
For the evening we reserved a table in a nice little restaurant at the beach, it's so cosy.

I might throw a little party this weekend but since I don't know that much people here in France it's gonna be mostly friends of Philippe but still some of my girlfriends here! :D
Sad though that Aude and Isis isn't yet home from Belgium, they'll come in the end of the month and we'll throw a party then!!! :D

As I'm turning 29 I'm starting to think more about the future in a real serious way. I'm such a baby. I have younger friends that are already mums and dads and I don't feel ready at all...
My mum was 35 when she got, has that something to do with it?
Philippe is 3 years younger then me so he's not rushed at all which suits me fine!
But a little bell has started to ring very quietly back in my head to tell me that, hmmm, you can't just wait until your 40...

And then professionally speaking I'm not finished at all, I have no idea what I wanna be when I grow up ;)
Well, abit more now though and I have a date (24 of june) that I'm waiting for but I prefere to talk about that when it's over! But think of me that date! :)

Now I'm gonna dye my hair, it's been a while and I'm so tired of my blemish brown and wanna go nanana na na na ...back to black :)

But it's on mondays the new challenge goes up at Scrap Challenge where I'm on the DT so I had to put together a page, I used a photo I took of my mother when she was here and I actually like the result very much!

Now, back to horizontally mode. I'm so tired of it!

I'm sick

Voilà, finally summer is here after weeks of bad weather. Yeaj, if it wasn't for the fact that this is the moment my body decides to get ill. Pfff... I have a summer-cold. Stayed out until 1 in the morning in my little dress and now I pay... So now, blanket, pillows and tv. No enery at all to scrap or other, had plenty of new ideas, but I'm to weak to do anything at all...

Though, I had the energy to go to the press-store and buy some magazines and 2 tickets, one to Loto and one to Euromillions with 28 000 000€ to win! I'm the one! I'll win! Even just 1 million is enough, I can share ;)

New LO for the Scrap Challenge DT (in french) this week

A dear thing for me, a ring that I bought for myself for my 18th birthday. I wear it since. Everyday. It inspires me and makes me happy when I look at it. Even if some stones are fallen out it's my most beautiful jewellery.

Look at these cute tourists! :) My cousin, my mother and my aunt when we went to Aigues Mortes and had lunch. It was so fun to show them around, it's like seeing everything for the first time again. And to show them how I live and all the places I love here in southern France!

The photos underneath is just the photos I took one day all the other were taken by my mum and aunt so I'll have to wait until she sends them to me... I was so pleased to be with them and so occupied to show them everything here so I totally forgot to bring my heavy camera and enjoyed being with them instead. I can't wait to have some of me and my mum though! :)  So I'll just share some from one night.

My mum is so crafty, a couple of minutes to dinner? I'll do some cross-stiching... :) With parents as crafty as mine, no wonder I'm all in to scrap etc! My mum has been crafty since I was born with sewing etc and my father paints and is a hobby-carpenter so...

My aunt enjoying some white wine from a vignoble here in Montpellier, we went to taste and buy some wine in a beautiful old abbey and visited the country side. As I said more photos to come.

They wanted to cook dinner one night so I said why not! :) It was so yummy!
 
Hey, it's in the genes! :) Of course we had to play some poker after all the good food, cheese and wine! A good way to end a perfect day!

Who's winning? My mum of course, she's an old poker-shark as we say in swedish! :)

As soon as I get the others I'll share with you, I had a wonderful week and I cant describe how wonderful it is to have your family with you some days when you don't even live in the same country, you just feel in place.

And it's really empty when they go home.

So now I'll cuddle up with Philippe and instead think about everything that makes me happy and the reasons why I stay here and how lucky I am to have what I have.

My family is gone! :(

Now they are already back in Stockholm and I feel a bit sad... It's hard sometimes to have your family that far away...

I had such a good week, only swedish all day, shopping, sightseeing, good food and laughter! :D
Tomorrow I'll upload photos from the week, but most of the pics were taken with my mum's compact so I have to wait until she sends them.

Just showing you my lastest LO for the Scrap Challenge this week.

I'm so thrilled, tonight I'm picking up my mum, aunt and cousine in Marseille at 23h! It's going to be sooooooo fun! :D

So, this week I'm going to be a bit absent in blogging and scrapping so see you on sunday, have lots of before and after-pics from my home to show all the thing I sew etc!

Today I'm going to do the groceries, cleaning the car, reserve tables in restaurants, call to see that the places I want to take them to are open etc etc, I'm am offically a tourist guide! :)
