Old camera (broken by me)

This is an old camera Philippes grandma gave me, she so sweet! She knows i want a Holga so she looked in her collections and found not less then 7 oldies! She gave me this one and two rolls of film. So happy.
Not even 12 hours in my custody and i broke it. Super. How stupid can you get?! Merde... It's a screw in the bottom that makes the camera stay in the leather "bag" to provided it from fall, exactly what i didn't not screw. Pffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff.........................

It's the arm-like thingie that makes the film jump forward that i broke, so absolutely nothing to do. (Tapping my head against the table)

It's summer! :)

Finally summer is here! Friday I had a coke in the sun with Karen, yesterday we went to the beach and had our first apéro on our "new" terrasse! La vie est belle! :)
Philippe worked really hard yesterday morning to put in our new lawn, the one we bought in march is already dead, so we bought 30 rolls of grass and now we have a wonderful little garden too! :) The hard part is to forbid Titan to do holes etc on the lawn, he can't understand why this grass is different from the grass outside... :)



Tuesday a friend of ours invited us to his cottage in Andorra, we had so much fun! It's in the mountain so we had prepared our snowboards and everything and when we got up there we found out that they closed for the season last sunday... well well, we had fun anyway! :) Good food, beautiful mountains, 40% taxfree, (I saw the Nikon D80 for over 200€ cheaper!) friends and fun!



We went to the vet friday and they think Titan is fat!!! So now he's on a diet... a puppy on diet!
So I thought it's a good moment to get in shape (yeah right) me too! So now - breakfast and dinner is Kellogs, a hard boiled egg, a slice of Wasa and lot's of water. It's not really a diet it's just a "up-shaper"! :) We'll see how that goes, he he!

Now we're off to Philippe's parents house, barbeque in the sun, lovely! And Titan can run around in their huge garden and maybe have a dip in the pool! :)

A mini about my scrapcorner

This is a mini I did for the DT Scrap Challenge last week.
I like it but I can do better, I have lots of ideas! :)

Dad was here!

Now i'm back! My dad stayed for a week and we had so much fun! :) I felt like a real tourist-guide and i'm proud of myself to know that much about this region and it's beautiful spots! I think my dad really liked it, or, i know he liked it! :D  We did so much fun stuff! 5 days are not enough to show everything.  Here's some pics of our trips to the countryside here around Montpellier :)
With dad we went to the countryside, the mountains, the castles from middle age, the aquarium, the museeum, but still it's just a third of all the beautiful places you can visit around here!
My mum has been here so many times so with her i've had the time to show almost all and we just sew all day! :D

Later this afternoon i'm going to the fabric store (not ikea) to look for
a new fabric for a bag, cause tonight i'm sewing with Karen.
Hope i'll find something a bit 'summerish' because for the moment ikea's fabrics are all so brown, black and grey. 

Oh, i bought the Ali Edwards book "Life Artist" that Terése recommended. I do too! :) Such a source of inspiration!

DT LO i did last week for Scrap Challenge 2008. Some clues that a scrapper is around, some
of my favourite material.

Coke and muffins

This is a LO i did today, coke and muffins, so simple to satisfy. I rarely drink coca cola so when i do it's a real pleasure! :) I like scrapping things that is just bits of my everyday life rather than holidays or events etc. Easy and funny. Thanks heaven for my printer, it's so fun to just take a photo and then print it and - vips - scrapping it!

Tomorrow my father is coming to visit so this whole week i'm gonna be busy go sightseeing with him, it's gonna be real fun! :D It's his first time here so i'm going to show him everything that i like with this region, the real southern France. I'll hopefully will not forget my camera so at the end of the week i'll show you some pics!

Tomorrow is gonig to be a busy day, shopping groceries, preparing the guestbed, going to the vet, picking up my dad at the aeroport etc etc.

Bag etc.

So finally i can show you guys the bags that i made with my mom,
the grey one i'm really pleased with but the dotty one is just like a
prototype where we tried to find a good size. I'll just it like a beach
bag. But the one i made out of ikea fabric i like. I'll buy some others
there to make some other sizes and change the handles.

The LO i did is for the Mojo-challenge wich is to use office-supplies etc.
As i haven't scrapped in a week i really needed some help with the
inspiration, for the moment i have so much things going on in my life,
big changes, so i'm a bit off.

The return!

Yeaj! My computer is doing better, no more breakdowns! It's weird how internet-addicted i've got, 5 days without it and i'm feeling lost. But now i'm back.

My mom was here and it was so funny, so funny that i completely forgot the take pictures, we just sew all day long and strolled at the beach, lovely! :D

I made a bag with some ikea-fabric and it turn out really well and tonight i'm going to a friends house try to show her how it's done and surely sew some others, it's so fun! My mum sew since i'm born so she really gave me useful technic tips.
I'm putting up pictures later on this afternoon, it's rainnig now so i'm gonna wait for better light and profit to scrap wich i haven't done in a week!

Computer Crash :(

My computer is down. I wanted to show you what i sew with my mother, but i can't, buhu. I hope it will be fixed tuesday or wednesday!

Sewing

I dusted off my sewing-machine that was forgotten in my closet and now it's all shiny and happy! :) It looks at me and says - sew mama, sew! So - i sew! Not a natural born dressmaker but i'm trying and since my mother is coming tomorrow (yeah) and she's been sewing since i'm born, i'll ask here plenty of questions and all sunday is for sewing etc! It's gonna be so fun! She's been here lots of times so there's no more sightseeing with her, just hanging out with mamma! I'll pick her up at the airport in Marseille that is a 2 hours drive from here tomorrow at midnight (!) and she stays a couple of days. And then pappa the 14th!

Fabrics!

This is some fabrics that i bought yesterday and today i got some more! I don't know yet what i'll do with it, maybe a dress with the white and dotty one... Do you know any place i can find patterns?

Been working!

We've been "renovating" our terrasse the hole weekend, new furniture, new palmtrees, new lawn, new insight-protection (english word?) etc etc! So nice but sweaty... Today it's been so hot that we had lunch on the new table, so nice!

Less nice is that this weekend we were waiting for the traffic-light to turn on to green, a guy (drunk) hit us in the rear. The hole backside of the car is crashed, super. And he didn't want to make a report so he took off and we had to call the police, do a report with some witnesses bla bla... Nice weekend huh?

So, i haven't been scrapping nor 'creating' at all but tomorrow i'm off to the fabric-store with Karen to shop! :) Fun!

The oh so sweet Tessie showed me her scrap-area and it's time that i take a photo, tomorrow i'll try!
